This project came we the need of looking about other way to build an 1/48 Airwolf scale model
since the ones available on

becoming of being to difficult to get!
Since the beginning, I’m a big Airwolf fan and, as a kid, I always wanted to have an Airwolf 1/48 scale plastic kit. Now, with Internet, it’s much more easier to look and find out those models (thanks to ebay). There for, I decided to buy one a few years ago at a reasonable price. Since then, the prices have really grown-up, and it’s very difficult now to get one of them. Since I decided to buy another one for collection, I decided to wait for a reasonable offer. As a helicopter lover, I’ve decided to start a 1/48 scale models collection so far I’ve got two copies of the Santini Jet Ranger, an Hughes 500, an RH66 Comanche, two Airwolf. So I wanted the Bell 222 for making a Redwolf (Airwolf II). I started to find on Ebay, what’s running and I found a copy of the Bell 222B at a very cheap price. My biggest surprise where when I receive it! All the Airwolf parts were included! (Guns, pods, side panels and two pilots with Airwolf’s helmets !)
